This is the external account-deletion pathway for Latent, published by FlowBench. You can start a deletion request here without having Latent installed.

Request deletion by email: Email hello@flowbench.com.au with the subject “Latent account deletion”

Write from the Google email address associated with your Latent account. In the message, say that you want the Latent account and associated hosted data deleted. Do not send your password, Google token, Google Play purchase token or a backup/recovery payload.

Delete in the app

If you can still access Latent, use its account settings and choose the account-deletion action. Review the confirmation carefully. The in-app route and this email route request the same server-side deletion outcome.

Verification and timing

FlowBench must verify that the requester controls the Google email associated with the Latent account. Verification normally occurs through the controlled email conversation. Additional confirmation may be requested if the account cannot be identified safely or the request appears suspicious.

After successful identity verification, FlowBench will complete the request within 30 days, normally sooner, and confirm the outcome by email. The clock begins after verification, not when an unverified or unmatched message arrives.

What is deleted

Deletion removes the following from Latent’s live service:

  • account profile and Google identity details held by Latent;
  • active authentication sessions;
  • reminder records;
  • account entitlement ledger entries;
  • the hosted-recovery encryption key; and
  • hosted recovery points and their encrypted payloads.

Deleting the service account does not automatically remove data stored locally on a device or manual exports you created. Remove local data through Latent or Android, and delete exported copies from each location where you placed them.

Operational database backups expire under the deployed encrypted backup schedule of 14 daily and 8 weekly snapshots. Deleted live records may remain inside an encrypted snapshot until that snapshot expires and are not restored except through controlled disaster recovery.

What is retained

Latent retains narrowly scoped, keyed trial-eligibility and purchase-ownership tombstones. They record that an account has already used its one-time trial and, where applicable, established purchase ownership. They remain for fraud prevention and entitlement integrity and cannot be used as a normal Latent profile, darkroom history or recovery payload.

The controlled Google Workspace correspondence used to verify and complete the deletion may be retained where reasonably needed to prove the request was handled, resolve a dispute or meet legal obligations. Google Play may retain transaction information under its own obligations and policies.

Purchases and refunds

Deleting a Latent account does not refund a Google Play purchase. Google Play controls payment and refund handling. Use Google Play’s available refund process if you also want to request a refund; account deletion and purchase refund are separate actions.
